Record Producer, Engineer, Editor
Tim leads a multifaceted career in Classical Music as a Record Producer & Editor, Cellist, and Viola da Gamba Player.
Throughout his various roles in recording, his work has appeared on a large number of major record labels including Universal Music Group, Decca, and Naxos. Recent recordings include releases for Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra, Malmö Symphony Orchestra, Orquestra Simfònica de Barcelona, Orquesta Filarmónica de Jalisco, Colorado MahlerFest, The Dante Quartet, Royal Scottish National Orchestra, Welsh National Opera, English Chamber Orchestra and English Symphony Orchestra.
Tim is experienced as a cellist, freelancing for orchestras such as Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra and London Concert Orchestra. He has performed with many world renowned concertmasters and soloists including Stephanie Gonley (Scottish Chamber Orchestra), Lucy Gould, Lesley Hatfield (BBC NOW), Sheku Kanneh-Mason, Katherine Jenkins, Henning Kraggerud, Gary Levinson (Dallas Symphony Orchestra), and Jennifer Pike.
Tim is also passionate about music of the 17th and 18th centuries. As a baroque cellist, he has performed with the eminent period violinists Rachel Podger and Margaret Faultless. As a Viol player, he has performed in festivals and in masterclasses to renowned Viol players (Hille Perl, Vittorio Ghielmi, Reiko Ichise). He is also a member of Arculo Consort of Viols, a new ensemble dedicated to performing repertoire from the Renaissance and Baroque periods.
